On Sunday, February 25 the ReRun Bicycle Emporium is reopening for the spring.

If you don't know what ReRun is, get informed by clicking here. When you do, you will notice that our unadorned workshop might be lacking in style, but there is plenty of room for lots of helpers.

This year we will be in the same location, 1001 Holland Avenue in Cayce, but we are changing the old formula that equaled us meeting every Sunday, forever, until Jesus comes back or we run out of bikes.

By order of the ReRun corporate board of directors, advisors, and trustees, ReRun will now rotate in eight week cycles.

That means we will spend eight straight weeks on Sundays from 2-5 p.m. at 1001 Holland Avenue in Cayce working on bikes and then we take eight weeks off to collect more bikes and distribute the bikes we just repaired.

  • Location: 1001 Holland Avenue in Cayce
  • Dates: February 25; March 4,11,18,25; April 8,15,22
  • Time: 2-5 p.m.
  • RSVP: No
  • Kids: w/parents - dropping them off and sneaking out isn't fair

There are few, if any, restrictions on who should show up. If you can't replace a crank or tune a rear derailleur, still come.

  1. If you can sweep a floor, build a shelf, or pump air in a tire, we need you.
  2. If you can use a computer to log inventory and parts needed, we need you.
  3. If you can cook something delicious to share, stock a cooler, or press "play" on an iPhone, we need you.
