For centuries, our Jewish friends have been reading the book of Ecclesiastes in the early fall, during the festival of Sukkot. Reading that book offers opportunity to look back on the harvest of the year and reflect on the impermanence of the year's harvest--and the permanence of the God who orders it all. At DTC this fall, we're going to follow that ancient tradition. We'll read through Ecclesiastes together on Tuesdays in September and early October. Pastor Mary will have study books available for anyone who would like to join us by August 23.
