Our Magic Sorting Hat quit on us, so we formed a team of regular people to nominate our next elders of DOWNTOWN CHURCH. These real sized normal people have names: Sandra Flewellen, Charles Flowers, Stacy Williams, Lee Walker, George Jenkins, Lindsay Joyner, and John Martin.
And they were joined by our co-pastors who got to sit in, but not vote. All together, with their powers combined, and the Holy Spirit, they landed on three names of unfinished, beautiful people to bring before the congregation as our nominees for elder on Sunday, December 3, 2017. The congregation unanimously elected all three of them. Here's a glimpse of who they are.
