Since we can't be together this morning,
we are bringing worship to you.

Scripture :: Proverbs 4:23-27

Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life.

Put away from you crooked speech,
and put devious talk far from you.

Let your eyes look directly forward
and your gaze be straight before you.

Keep straight the path of your feet,
and all your ways will be sure.

Do not swerve to the right or to the left;
turn your foot away from evil.

Continuing to do what is right and follow God can be
hard — especially when those around you are not. Daniel was kind, wise, and a hard worker — traits the king recognized and was thankful for. Even surrounded by people who believed differently, Daniel continued to worship and kept his heart focused on God. God worked through Daniel and kept him safe. People even came to know God’s power and protection because of Daniel!

Who is someone you know that is kind and faithful, always following God even when those around them are not? What is one thing we can do to keep our hearts focused on God?
