SERMON SERIES: STEAM PLANT

Leveraging the architecture of our building, we remember the original purpose of Central Energy – to provide energy to the surrounding community. We’re going to layer this metaphor alongside the Biblical book of Ezra to talk about why we gather as a church. We, the people, are like the water coming into Central Energy, we get mixed together and heated up by the Holy Spirit, and then, like the water transformed into steam, we are sent out to serve the community. This series dovetails with a capital campaign to raise funds for land and site improvements. We need land and infrastructure to host people coming in from all over the city for worship.
