PRAYER OF THE DAY God, Woe be gone, Lord, take it from us now. For we look for a window, an opening through which your light meets us. When we grow weary, overwhelmed by what has been lost, direct us to the seed. One small seed which changes everything. Amen.
WORDS OF FORGIVENESS The news is good. The news is God’s love for us. In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven. We can be at peace.
SONGS OF WORSHIP Holy, Holy, Holy Gloria Patri
HOLY INTERRUPTION
SCRIPTURE READING | Matthew 13:31-32 He put before them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed in his field; it is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”
The word of God for the people of God. Thanks be to God.

SACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION Invitation to the Table Great Thanksgiving The Lord be with you. And also with you. Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give our thanks and praise....we praise you, joining our voices with choirs of angels and with all the faithful of every time and place, who forever sing to the glory of your name: Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
THE LORD’S PRAYER Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. Words of Institution Communion of the People Prayer of Thanksgiving
