WORSHIP FAQ

What time is Worship?
We will have one service each Sunday starting at 8:30am. This new schedule will start this Sunday, September 13th.

Will this service happen every Sunday?
Yes, as long as we can, we will be having these services weekly from here on out.

Will there still be Worship online for people who don’t feel comfortable with gathering right now?
Yes! Digital worship will happen like always. Find it Sunday mornings on our website.

Do I need to register for this service?
You do not have to register, however we’d love to know if you are planning to come, so we can accommodate everyone as safely as possible. Let us know to expect you using this form.

Where should I sit?
We have marked off the lawn into pods, please choose a pod with an X in the center and hang in the pod during worship.

Will the set-up guys be putting out chairs?
No. We invite you to bring lawn chairs and put them out on the lawn in your pod.

Can I stay in my car?
Yes! We will broadcast the sound from the stage to your car via FM radio. The FM radio station will be put on our website as a banner before church starts.

Should I bring my cool new mask?
Yes, masks are required, even though we are outside. You can come in your pajamas, yoga pants, overalls — you don’t even have to wear shoes but you need to wear a mask. If you don’t have one or all of your new cloth ones are being washed, we will have one for you.

Will we need to stay 6 feet apart from other people that we love and want to hug who do not live in our household?
The bummer answer is yes.

Will there be DTK or Nursery?
We aren't able to do Nursery at this time. DOWNTOWN Kids will happen. For the next four weeks, we are hosting DOWNTOWN Kids, after church at the same time as Tiny Theologians (9:30-10:15 AM) DOWNTOWN Kids will take place on the side lawn. It starts at 9:30 AM for ages 5-8. Please register here for DTK or register when you arrive on the side door of the building.  All DTK participants are required to wear a mask.

I miss holding a program, will there be one for me?
Not at this time.

How long will the service be?
About 30-40 minutes.

Can I sing along with the band?
We ask that you not sing with the band, since singing spreads germies. Feel free to hum or sway.

Is there a rain plan?
If God decides that it will rain on Sunday morning, stay in bed and enjoy worship from your couch — we will always have worship available online. If you are unsure as to whether or not worship is happening due to weather, check our website before you come on Sunday morning. A call on weather will be made Saturday evening and the website will be updated by 8 PM Saturday.

How do I make an offering at this service?
First of all, thank you. Secondly, yes, you can drop it in the wooden bowl on the table with the masks and hand sanitizer or make a secure gift online.

Will there be coffee and cookies?
Since we will all be wearing masks we will not have coffee or cookies. We encourage you to sip on your coffee as you drive to church.

Parking
If you are staying in your car, park on the lots on either side of the church. If you are planning to sit on the back lawn in your chair, please park in the lot across the street.
